meet the counsellor
Cate Harding is a registered clinical counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA Member 31078) and
the Australian Counselling Association (ACA Member 13999, Level 4). Cate has studied and worked in the counselling space since 2015. She holds a Master of Counselling from Monash University, a Graduate Diploma of Counselling from the University of Tasmania, and is a certified EFT Tapping Practitioner.
Cate has the ability to listen deeply and relate to people from varied backgrounds and life experiences. She upholds and believes that effective therapy comes from being flexible with the therapeutic modalities used, meeting individuals where they are at, and maintaining a curious, non-judgemental and understanding outlook.
Cate has gained invaluable experience working in the community services sector, providing counselling to individuals from 15 to 92. She sees counselling as an opportunity for people to take time to explore and learn from their past and present experiences, develop skills to nurture themselves, and to explore alternate perspectives.
